How to enter?

  1. Entries must be uploaded to YouTube and titled: Your Entries Name_Antlion Entertainment Remix Competition
  2. Entries must include the following in the video description (copy and paste this text): This is an official entry for the Antlion Entertainment Remix Competition sponsored by X, Y, Z, and D. #AntlionEntertainment #sponsor1 #sponsor2 #sponsor 3 #sponsor4
  3. Send your youtube link to info [at] antlionentertainment [dot] com. Entries must be sent by email and include the following as the subject line: Antlion Entertainment Remix Competition – Entry. In the body of the email, include your full legal name, age, nationality, genre of remix, and a brief (maximum 150 words) description of your work, including how you approached the remix, and what instruments or production techniques you used.
  4. Entries must use significant sections of the bass or drum stems provided in the description of the following video, and must be considered transofmative: Link. This is interpreted to mean (a) recognizable portion(s), in whole or in part, that has/have been reworked into a new original composition written by you. This can be done by adding new instruments on top of the tracks, remixing major sections (in whole or in part) into a new song, reworking the song into a new genre, changing/playing one of the parts of the song with significant changes, etc. This means you can’t just sample one single note, but must use a recognizable portion that has also been altered in a compositionally significant way.
  5. AI compositions are not allowed. You must have written the music yourself, and either played an instrument or programmed it into a DAW. Entries that are found to have used AI will be immediately disqualified. This is at the sole discretion of the competition managers.
  6. Any entries that fail to follow any of the outlined rules will be disqualified.
  7. Judges will select a first, second, and third place prize based on originality, technical ability, production quality, and musicality. One individual “Judge’s Choice” award may also be granted by each individual judge.
  8. Winners will be announced on TBD.
